right, im guessing you guys are wondering what the hell this is. Well, i've been feeling uninspired lately (hence the lack of sketches and whatnot) and more than a bit lazy so i didnt want to get started on the next page of Grave souls, now, this brings me to the Champion.
We all know that he's a once great hero who managed to rally the people and topple and evil empire, before getting off by a necromancer who he'd spared and having his soul trapped within his corpse to be used as an unstoppable trump card.
But who is he?

WARNING! back story ahead!:
The Champion, Aka; Champ, was found wandering on the outskirts of Greidel's Landing after, what people had assumed was that his home was destroyed after the residence refused to pay their taxes (taxes where to be paid in human souls and flesh but then hows that different from out world? [ugh, i just wrote that joke and i already regret it!]) and was initialy allowed to stay on the outskirts of town just beyond the wall.
Now, the people of Greidel's Landing where sort of like Norse Spartans, their culture was based off of strength and one's ability to contribute to the army, however where the two cultures differ is that these folk would accept refugees into their cities if they where young enough and showed the right potential. and Champ showed an ass lode of potential. The lad completely showed up the son of the chieftain (Chonskelder [you know, the guy with the axe]) in a coming of age ritual that was being held just outside the walls (mostly because of how much shit they would have destroyed if they'd done it in the town).
The two hated each other at first, mostly because Chomp was used to being the golden boy and was being a bit of a bitch about things before eventually becoming friends after Champ saved him during an undead raid, where he also preformed better than anyone else and got his name changed from 'you there' to Champion.
And thats enough of Champ's back story for now, so enjoy while i try to buckle down!
